A pain in the ass to get to work properly with air/fuel ratios and timing issues, but it can be done with enough time and money. And yes, some cars are twin turbos. Such as Toyota Supras, Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4s, Nissan Skyline GT-Rs, Nissan 300ZXs. Most of the cars that come with twin turbo's are Japanese cars that have small motors with no nuts on their own. It takes the power of two hair dryers to make horsepower. hehe Kidding aside, the smaller motors on their own usually dont make as much power as the bigger motors do (Chevy 350, Ford 302). So forced induction helps them gain power through technology rather than brute force. Not saying a car like a Chevy Corvette, Camaro or even a Dodge Viper can't be turbocharged or even twin turbocharged. It just takes lots and lots of money.

Callaway Corvette
Of course, who can forget the Callaway Twin Turbo Corvettes! The current Chevy 350 (ok, 348) is a favorite engine to add twin turbos to. 500+ horsepower, easy.

Twin Turbos
Actually, the point of having two smaller turbos instead of one larger one is to reduce the turbo lag. The turbos are usually sequential (one spools up before the other), and their smaller size means a quicker response and thus less lag. I have never heard of a car with both a turbo and a supercharger. Probably more pain than it is worth.
