I have a 95 civic dropped with the HP/Stech combo, and i'm very happy with the ride quality. With my car it was a 1.8" drop on all 4 corners. Ride quality is still close to stock. The S-techs were designed for OEM shocks, so getting something along the line of the HP's is fine. Adjustables are overkill unless you auto-x. Even then, are you really going to be adjusting them?

Lowering springs designed for stock shocks?
Good way to blow out your shocks quickly! I adjust my shocks a lot even when only street driving - I like a firm ride - the womens usually dont! If you know what suspension is & how it works you would understand why adjustable anything is a good thing - even for street driving.
