Talking Interesting and fun facts

I started this thread to get funny or interesting facts from you people about integ or other cars. imagine this thread as a place to tell your jokes and experiences.

for example:
fun fact - if you dont have your doch vtech sticker on the bumper (some fools stole mine) civics will pull up next to you and try to race you. its fun to see them getting left in the dust.

lol. someone stole your tag?! hahaah. that sucks. although you can still tell a GSR by the rims.

get a big Si-style V-Tec logo and put it on your door. they'll back off.

well, i was being creative. My name starts with a M, and since all the parts on it were picked by me, i decided to call it a Mtype. Its customized by special parts i picked. I'll probably change my profile later, just too many "what is Mtype questions"

Whats on my car?
-jun pistons
-AEM Cams
-Comptech light Flywheel
-ACT Clutch
-Comptech exhaust system (no headers)
-Koni coilovers
-Cold air intake
-AEM fuel regulator
-Comptech oil pump
- many other things
- some interior and exterior - nobody kit though, i like the sleeper look
-Factory front and side groundeffects
My car is waiting for a turbo or a sc, I've decided and i dont have $$
I have a friend with a dyno, i did tweeking with some air/fuel adjustments, changed some numbers on the Computer. It dynos at max=167.3wheel hp. mpg went down about 2-2.5miles per gallon(not too bad). hopefully more when i can buy more stuff.
future mods - turbo or sc
- Carbon fiber hood (looks real good on a black integ)
- Type R or similar spoiler
- Engine Reinforcements (sleeves, valves, rods, springs, new head, ect)

Man, I used to know a guy in high school who drove an LS but had GSR rims and he would steel the Vtec badges to put on his car so he could claim it was a GSR. **00GSR shakes head in disgust**

BTW, Vtech is a phone

I've wondered about that. Do all GS-R's (or rather DID all GS-R's) have a "DOHC VTEC" logo from the factory? I got mine at 95,246 miles, and it didn't have one. I've seen a few other supposed GS-R's (by looking at the rims) that don't have the logo either. Was mine just a victim of a petty crime at some point ?

haha, it depends on what year GSR you have.
All GSR's (94-2001) have the DOHC VTEC BADGE on the bottom right side of the tailight.

older GSR's (91-93?) have a badge that says GS-R

I think your car was jacked by some mexican nissan owner. haha

Haven't seen any with a doch sticker on the bumper here....we get them on the back windscreen, under the wiper arm.

i got a used 96 gsr from a certified acura dealer but it didn't come with the tag at all, and they didn't bother to put one in there so most people think i have an ls...

so i guess it really depends.
