Check your coolant level and see if you are running low or dry.

I believe the heater control lever in your car is cable operates, so if you park your car in a quiet place (ex. inside your garage), and move the heater lever you can hear or feel the lever if it's working. There should be a little resistance when you try to push/pull the lever.

Also while you are at it, turn your key to the "on" position (dash light comes on, put engine not running). push the vents buttons and try to hear if the vent doors are operating.

Let me know if everything is working the way they should be. If everything above works, then you might have a cloged heater core.

it is up against the firewall in the engine bay. Cant really explain exactly where it is, but just look for a little thin line (the line that switches it from hot to cold) Good luck!

The heater isn't working becase your fan isn't turning. The heaters needs water to work. Check the resirve tank to see if your runnig low. If so put water instead of coolant.

it should always be mixed 50/50. 50% antifreeze and 50% water.

Not nessarley. I run water 70/30 coolant but I 'v got a C&R aluminum radiator. I run at a cool 160 to 178f all the time. A lot of people say it's better to run water 60/40 coolant even for stock radiator's. water cool better then coolant right....
