My Slammed Chevy Silverado working progress

Hey guys,

This is one of my first post on this branch of the tree, but I have been here numerous times. I just got back started on my custom silverado ( its only been about a two year project lol), and I was wondering what you guys think? Let me know good or bad. Sorry for the low pic quality, and I hope these pics actually show up.

What Ive done so far: Completely shaved the bed ( still needs a lot of work on the tailgate), Shaved the cab, set it on the ground ( involved alot of cutting on the chassis, and im going to have to glue the shortened rear axle straight to the frame), Ive already tinted the windows, the rims are off a prowler

What I plan to do: working on an air bag system for the front I was going to do the back, but i have to glue it straight onto the frame. I might still find a way to incorporate it though. Im working on shortening the axle. Waiting on engine parts from revell. Since i cut the middle chunk out of the bed im building kind alike a roll cage for strength and looks. I know there is alot of crap im missin but im lost as of now plus this post is pretty long sorry bout that. O yeah i plan on using hydro pumps from an impala as compressor (a huge reseamblance) Thats if i can find them in my room

Dude, the front rims/tires are waaaay too small. Maybe grab another prowler's rear rims and try them on the front to see how they look.

Thats mofoin' bad ass! I started working on mine but I've only starting painting the parts. You were talking about adding bags. What are you gonna use to get the look? And what color do you plan to do? Bad ass can't wait to see it done, but I'm sure it'll be a while.

that looks hot! i agree about the front rims, go bigger! my colour suggestion, if you didnt have it planned....sublime lime green by boyds paints. with lots of clear and polish to make it just shout EYE SOAR!!! What engine parts did you order from revell?

I saw this thread and couldn't pass it up.....I also have that ext. cab kit...but here is my standard cab kit. Still undecided on color or to leave it primed. Can't wait to see your truck done.

Those wheels don't cut it man, get some of these Hoppin Hydros buy the biggest ones you can

Calvin, I would paint that Silverado, doesn't look right in flat black, not really an old rod style car.
