'85 Cutlass Code Reset Question
Just Wondering If Anybody Knows How To Reset The Codes In This Car....just Put In A New Thermostat And The Same Code Keeps Poppin Up.....mechanic Says It Needs To Be Reset.....anybody Know How To Do This?

Mechanic is wrong
What code is setting?
If the Check engine light keeps coming on, then you have a problem that needs to be repaired. Resetting the light wont fix the problem.

You can reset the codes by disconnecting the negative battery lead for a few minutes or you can remove the ECM fuse in the fusebox for a few minutes. Hope this helps.
