Confused

I've been looking at body kits for some time now and I had a question...I'm always looking for a 2000 Civic body kit and I noticed that some sites will say 'Civic 96-00' and then others will say 'Civic 96-98' and then 'Civic 99-00'. I thought 96-00 were the same model...is there a difference?

Also I have another question...

Hey don't know if this is true or not but isn't Urethane easier to fit than a Fiberglass kit?

Yes, a Urethane kit generally has better fitment than fiberglass. A kit for a 96-98 will NOT fit on a 99-00, the headlights are shaped differently, as well as some other subtle differnces, so they wont fit. I wouldnt buy a kit from anyone who says for a 96-00, you never know if it will fit right or not.

AHHH the only site I've seen so far (haven't looked to much though) that has a Urethane Feelz kit says 96-00 Civic...Why couldn't fiberglass be stronger... WHY?!

They can be made to fit, but will take annoying amounts of work and touchups... I bought a 96-98 front bumper for my 2000 and it didn't fit, so I left it hanging in my garage and it's been there unpainted for like a year now.

Well after just getting angry and seeing the Feelz kit OVER and OVER in fiberglass I've came to 2 conclusions:

1.) Get the urethane one from www.extremedimensions.com

2.) Find a different kit

Because I can't get a fiberglass kit...

Why dont you listen to anything I tell you? ExtremeDimesions will screw you over! They are notorious for shitty kits! One guy on here bought one, the gel coat was fucked up, so he ended up paying almost $1000 to the body shop to get the kit painted and installed right.

I say find a different kit. Go Wings West or Tsunami if you want Urethane.

Mine's primed white, but unpainted. Here she is... it's a cool bumper but I don't have the time/patience to work it on there.

Anybody want it? I'll take a pic of what I have tonight and post it, and will sell it for cheap just to get it out of my garage...

There is a God...
I called local body shop and was asking some question about installing body ktis and molding fenders and such and he wanted to look at the kit and I told him it was at extremedimensions.com and he said O yea we get all our kits from there. He said he'd order it through him that way shipping wouldn't matter if it was messed up but that since it was urethane he said it would be alright... Life has gotten better
