The 92-95 Coupe and Sedan share the same tailights, so they are interchangable. The hatchback has different taillights. Basically, A Coupe and Sedan can interchange the rear bumper and tailights with each ohter, but not with a hatchback. However, a Coupe and Hatchback can interchange front bumpers, but a sdean can not with these. Not sure if this includes headlights.

but will the sedan/coupe tailights still attach to a hatchback and still work, like will the bolts line up and all? ( I realize they are not the same shape and probably would not look right, but would it be possible?)

That I do not know, but I wouldn't try it. Let's face it, if the shape is wrong, the gasket seal shape is probably different too. That being said, if the gasket seals don't fit right (I am refering to stock ones, using aftermarket seals always leak, no matter the car their on), the you will have a leaky back end. You can try it, I could be wrong, the bolts may line up, the gasket may keep water out and prevent leaking, and all you may have to deal with is improper fitment and big gaps as a result of the slightly different shape. It's not worth finding out in my opinion, but if you want to try, or have the lights already, go ahead. As long as you don't force it and brake anything, its completly reversable if it doesnt work.

I won't be trying it, I guess the idea was just one of my "brain farts" or whatever they call them.

I actually did replace my back tailight a month ago or so, but it came off an identical car at a junkyard. (I backed into another car in my driveway, that parked car just fell right out behind me when i was backing up)

Unhappy Re: Will 92-95 back lights fit?

so does this mean all i need to do in order to change my tail lights, is take the larger one (the one that doesn't come up with the trunk lid) along with my bumper, off? Because right now, that large light wont COME OFF.

The tailights are held in by 4 nuts per tailight assembly. remove the nuts, the lights, and they should slide right out.
