1991 Accord and Door Lights

I have 1991 Accord LX and my courtesy door lights and dome lamp does not come on when the door is opened. The dome light will work when I manually switch it on postition. I am thinking there is a fuse somewhere tha handles these lights. All other interior lights work. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

check all your fuses, if none are blown, then it could be that the switch is messed up (it's in the door by the latch), and if that's not stuck or messed up in some way, then you may have blown all of them out at once....but I'd check the fuses, but mostly that switch that tends to get stuck with age.

I had that happen to me once and this is what i did.

Take out the switch form the body in the door jam.

Take it apart and you should see little copper plates in there clean that with a pencil eracer or a sand paper it should work. It worked for me and it's been 2 years. NO problems yet.
