What tamiya colour gives this result?

Hi guys, sorry to post this thread, although it's not one of those "in what colour should I paint this or that car..."

I would like to know what tamiya paintcan or bottle would pretty much give the same colour as the steelies in the picture, not the fastener, but the disk of the rim. If you could give the name and the reference, that will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot .

Olivier

TS-30 Silver Leaf (spray), or maybe XF-16 Flat Aluminium (bottle)

I would also look for the spray paints that Tamiya brought out for the planes (AS?) I think they are a couple of dull metal colors like that.

i would say paint the whole wheel with flat aluminium xf16 then clear coat the centre disk to give the slightly glossy effect. Just a thought, probably worth trying a few things out before you decide what to do

Silver leaf would be for too shiny best to go for aluminium with a clear coat, of find a dull silver spray from another source.
