Lollapalooza review...

Went to Lollapalooza on Saturday, had some fun...

Saw Rooney, The Donnas, Jurassic 5, A Perfect Circle, Incubus, and Audioslave.

Rooney was alright, not really my type of music though, but that's okay, cuz I passed out through most of it anyways.
Same with the Donnas...

Jurassic 5 was great, they do some weird stuff with records...

A Perfect Circle was awesome, and for once Maynard wasn't a bastard (last time I saw A Perfect Circle, he spent the entire concert with his back to the audience and his head down )

Incubus tore it up as always. The thing I love about seeing them live is that when they do play live, they sound just like their studio recordings. Best part of the set was when they played Battlestar Scralatchtica (which is an instrumental with alot of DJ scratching), and about halfway through the song, they brought out 2 more DJ's (I think they were from Jurassic 5), and all 3 DJ's took turns doing some serious scratching and whatnot. Plus, they played a song or two off of "Science" which is always nice to hear... everyone else in the audience was like "WTF are they playing?!"

Audioslave was pretty good. Their sound-quality was kinda poor, but Chris Cornell put on a pretty good show, made it fun. I'm just happy that I got to see Tom Morello play live. He's a fucking guitar god. Highlight was an acoustic guitar duet that Chris Cornell did with Maynard... Also, they did a cover of a White Stripes song... At least I think it's the white stripes, but can't figure out which song...

Didn't stick around for Janes Addiction.

Anyways, was fun... The beer was good (although, expensive as hell), the girlies were hot, and the music was good.

Yup yup...

Incubus is the main reason I went to Lollapalooza. Seen them 2 other times, and met them at a club here in town once... LOL. Invited them to my house for a party, but they had other plans hahaha.
