Ideas for stuff to go in FAQ

I think that we should put a thread about Altezza Taillights and Clear Corners in the FAQ. It comes up every week and it is annoying.

Other things that aren't annoying be should be consolidated are painted taillights, where can I get nismo grille?, etc.

I would personally find it more helpful if the FAQ were hosted as a "normal" HTML page instead of a thread in the forums. Not only would an HTML page be easier to search and organize (as well as hotlink) but it would waste far less space (no sig files for each entry), would load faster, and be easier to admin. I wrote up a FAQ for the Suzuki Bandit 1200 motorcycle back when i used to own one. It was fairly simple to organize and was FULL of information. You guys could use it as a template if you want.

Q. Who makes shocks for a P11?

A. No one. Tein has a "full" kit which includes lowering springs and shocks. But no one has shocks available separately. Only aftermarket P10 fronts will fit perfectly for now. 95-98 Maxima rears will fit also, but those have a higher spring perch which in turn will actually raise the car up a little, but enough to look funny. Only look at getting the Maxima rears if you have Ground Controls, which can make up for that funny raise by just lowering it a little. Koni should have a full shock kit developed soon, I hope.

Q. Who makes clear bumper lenses for a P10 or P11?

A. No one. Go to www.clearcorners.com to get it custom made.

I agree, and there will be amore comprehensive FAQ on G20.net someday. This is just an interm thing until I can get it set up.

If this is the way you want to go eventually, i'd suggest doing it right from the start. You'll save yourself a lot of work in the long run. Hell, i'd be willing to help get you started, though i admit i don't know much about the G20 since i'm new to the group. I could probably get you a base template though, and you could slowly fill in the rest.
