I've raced a Ford Probe Gt, but it was an Asian chick that was driving it. So I really can't say if I was racing someone that knew how to race or if it was a challenge. I had her by a tire at the end and I'm in a DX D16. Your friend's car is a lot heavier so you'll probably get him. It seems like a good match so it might come down to the drivers. Don't let us Honda fanatics down bro.

I saw a Probe GT run a 16.1 a few times... I think all he had was an exhaust.

you've got about the same hp but he weighs around 400 more lb's than you. should be a pretty easy kill.

i do agree taht in the end u SHOULD be able to beat him (both being equal drivers), but he's going to jump u off the line.

like most fords, he's got a bit of torque (160, compared to 111) so he's going to jump off the line and have a lot better bottom end. i'd look for the top of ur 2nd to pull up even tho, and ur 3rd, SHOULD take him. its not going to be a blow out tho...good luck buddy.

I disagree, he has more torque but he weighs more. I've raced probes in my crx and they never beat my off the line in my dx. either pulled in 2nd or 3rd.

My friends Probe Gt 96 ran 15.8 at track last friday that was his fastest time so that may help you all he has on his car is Ram air and Custom exhuast and it is dropped
