I've raced a Ford Probe Gt, but it was an Asian chick that was driving it. So I really can't say if I was racing someone that knew how to race or if it was a challenge. I had her by a tire at the end and I'm in a DX D16. Your friend's car is a lot heavier so you'll probably get him. It seems like a good match so it might come down to the drivers. Don't let us Honda fanatics down bro.

if ive been able to walk countless GTs, you should be able to with a lighter car.

I saw a Probe GT run a 16.1 a few times... I think all he had was an exhaust.

i've taken many gts without any problems, the car is heavy for that wimpy mazda 6cyl, easy kill for you.

may friend has a probe GT with custom Exhuast, has it dropped racing rims and tired. and Home depo intake. and it is really quick he beat a i4 z3 bmw. and he beats alot of fast shit look at as one of best racers in town cuz of his launch. it is perfect and he lost to a b16a civic one time but only by like inches

you've got about the same hp but he weighs around 400 more lb's than you. should be a pretty easy kill.

like most fords, he's got a bit of torque (160, compared to 111) so he's going to jump off the line and have a lot better bottom end. i'd look for the top of ur 2nd to pull up even tho, and ur 3rd, SHOULD take him. its not going to be a blow out tho...good luck buddy.

u got nothing to worry about. i ran a d16z6 i/e no header against a probe gt with 5k on his motor. got him off the line and he never caught up. beat him by a car gap.
