I actually got htis finish, due to a F**kup. I thought I would be smart and sand my final coat with 2000 grit wet n' dry, but it came up dull and scratched to buggery. So I thought I could polish the scratches out with tamiya compound. It still looked sh*t so I just washed the body (to remove the compound) and gave it another wetcoat and voila! Fluked it! So now I'm gonna paint all my models in this method.
1 mist coat, let it dry for 1min or so. 1 wet coat, let it dry for 2 days. sand then compound. wash. Paint final wetcoat. Hopefully it works. |
