Engines....

Hey guys, I am new to this forum, well to posting at least, ive been searching this site for about a week or so but i guess you can say im still new lol. I'm not sure if this should go in here but i have a 1992 Honda Civic DX, and im looking for a new motor. So.... im hoping it stays in here if not move it to the right place!

My question is what kind of motor can i fit into my 1992 Honda Civic DX? I'm going to list some motors and i want you to say no or ya. Or which engine will be the best in the car with the least amount of modifications. Heres the list.

Accord 86-89 A20A, 2000cc, 550$
90-93 F22A, 2200cc, 600$
94-97 F22B2 2200cc, 750$
94-97 F22B1-VTec 2200cc, 750$
98-02 F23A-Vtec 2300cc, 750$

Civic 88-91 D15B-16V 1500cc, 300$
91-95 D15B-16V 1500cc, 300$
88-91 D16A2 1600cc, 400$
92-95 D16Z6-SOHC-Vtec 1600cc 600$
96-00 D16Y7-DX/LX 1600cc, 650$
96-00 D16Y8-SOHC-VTec 1600cc 850$

Prelude-S 88-90 B20A3-SOHC-Carb.Type 2000cc 400$
Prelude-SI 88-91 B20A5-DOHC 2000cc $500

Acura Integra 90-93 B18A 1800cc 700$
94-95 B18B 1800cc 800$
Legend 87-90 C27A 2700cc 550$
91-95 C32A 3200cc 950$

So out of that list, what engine will give me alot more HP than my stock 1.5L engine, and will also fit in the stock location without alot of modifications? Let me know guys.

of those you list, the B18B. It is the same OBD, you can use you mounts, wiring is easy. and it fits with no mods. But um, where did you get those prices, are they in pounds or something?

No good prices, but it is probably just for the long blocks (head and block) unfortunately you need the tranny, axles, ECU, and shiftlinkage also.

Re: Engines....

no, a b18c is though... the b18b has 143hp and 127tq, while the b18c1 has 180hp, BUT, 128tq.... and the b18b is better to boost and can produce more hp and torque for the same price as a b18c swap.. (3grand)
