New track times

Welp it was back to the drawing board again, or basically the track. I went to Fontana Speedway with my older brother. He drives a Saturn, so there really wasn't any point in me racing him. As usual the track was crowded (In excess of 300 people I believe). I only got in 2 runs I was fighting a losing battle from the get-go. A 15-20 headwind was affecting everyone's car. I was positive that guru Steve's tuning and help w/ the N20 system would help. I feel kinda disappointed cause I didn't run 12's, but I was pretty close actually. Here are my times:
First pass
R/T .616
60' 2.395
330' 6.027
1/8 8.866 @ 88.26 mph
1000' 11.256
1/4 13.263 @ 113.18 mph

Second run
R/T .715
60' 2.306
330' 5.894
1/8 8.748 @ 87.64 mph
1000' 11.134
1/4 13.144 @ 112.97 mph

I'm happy with the times, cause i'm positive that I can hit 12's on a good day. The mph has increased by 8 mph. I met up with Silver from LS1.com. He said that he typically runs 12.7 sec. at Speedway. He ran a 13.1 sec. 1/4 mile @ 110mph. Wind is annoying.
Guys I felt sorry for:
2001 SS, he ran a 15 sec. 1/4 mile, and redlighted to boot. His 60' time was 3 sec. An STi owner that got a 13.7 sec. 1/4 mile (Someone told me they were capable of 12's). An Evcolution with a 14.5 sec. pass. A 350 Z w/ a 15.3 sec. pass.
Winners
A 2003 Cobra w/ only K&N filter, Kenne Bell chip, pulley, and slicks that ran a 12.1 sec. 1/4 mile. A 90' ish 300 ZX turbo that ran a high 11 sec. pass at 118 mph.

BTW I trapped as high as two Viper GTS's that were there. One ha CAI and exh. Just need more grip.

What are you running for D/R's? Were they aired down and heated up before the run? Cause with a 2.3 sec 60 ft time, can only mean massive wheel spin with your times. If you improve you 60 ft's, then I see no problem with you breaking into the 12's at all. Maybe it's time for some slicks or suspension mods? None the less, good run!

Your MPH is wonderful... jsut need to get your 60' hook ed up.

You hit a 1.8-1.9 and you will be in the mid-to-low 12s
