I think the only diffrence between a 351W and a 302 is the bor and stroke. as for what ranger. I have a friend that swaped a 2.3 turbo out of a wrecked SVO mustang. Minor mods and he ran 14.03 on like 9 PSI or something like that

Re: which ranger? or does it matter??

My 98 ranger 4X4 has a governer for 100 mph and limited slip diffferentials, but maybe thats only for the rangers with the off-road package.
