Well, its not just an Idea in my head anymore. I put down a deposit to bring in a JDM SIR CRX Glasstop. I ordered it today, with any luck it will be in my hands by October....or so. Its an 88, has 48,000 kms. And I can insure it and drive it to the nuts Right off the bat. So I think Im going to sell my 89 DX, and my 94 CX....and my 91 B18a....but Im going to keep my Tokicos and my Coilovers, and Im gonna keep my racing seats and such.....but Im gonna be sooooo Happy when it comes in....if everything works out.

Im getting it imported from the Mustang Ranch in the okanagan. I live in BC....so its just a 10 hr drive and Im ready to pick it up. I'll flip a friend of mine $100 or something to make the trip with me.

well I could be wrong......but Setana will know for sure. Eitherway Im getting all the details next week when the importer gets everything settled. Im assuming its going to be an 88 He brings over...cause the vehicle needs to be 15 years old in order to insure.

Ya.....that just means Im going to have to swap in a B16.....or Boost the ZC.......still though.....RHD, JDM CRX would be sweet......He's got a few lined up....but Im going to be VERY Picky.

Yep - it'll be a Si if it's DOHC... but there was also a twin-carb 1500 with glass top and a few other varients - make sure you get a DOHC version

I've seen a few glasstops now and they do look sweet... but given the fact that I'm follicly challenged, a hat is a must - it's bad enough that in Aussie summers (up to 44 degrees Celsius) I have to hit the sun block on my arms etc or get fried if I leave the windows down or roof open

FYI:SiRs were early '90-'91, only the Integra XSi/RSi were '89 onwards.

BTW - take some care and time with the engine 48,000 kms is nothing - until you factor in the stop start driving in congested Japan. Change all the fluids and take it for a few distance runs and monitor engine temp carefully. Just my

$500 CDN Deposit will bring it in. This will also be refundable. He has found me an 89 LTD ED with full leather, its sweet...but the wrong year....I need an 88.

thats a 89 crx exclusive... only 450 ever made in 89 and in japan... super rare and there are prolly dozens of people in europe waiting and wanting to buy that one....
