Decal drying time before clear coat

I am looking to clear coat a model I am working on that will have decals on it. It is a Revell kit, and I am planning on using Duplicolor clear laquer. Does anyone have experience with this combo? How long did you wait before clear coating and did you experience any lifting? Thanks.

Not a clear coat person !!......but i've been told you need to wait at least 3-4 days at a good room temp before you clear coat.

id be interested in any comments too, this is pretty much what im planning to do, depending on how shiny the white paint comes up without clear on it. But i want to protect the decals on my 911gt1 so i will be interested to see if i can use duplicolour or have i got to go and buy something else

Be interested in peoples views on this too.. I've never used clear coat over any of my decal kits. But I do use auto (Halfords) sprays and they look like they would eat through the decals no probs...
Mmmm I should really go off and test it some time?
