Question Tamiya wheel diameter question.

Does anyone know if the six spoke wheels in the Pennzoil Skyline are the same diameter as the six spoke wheels in the Castrol NSX? They are probably identical, but worth asking.

IMPUL RS wheels, they'd be the exact same size because they're the exact same wheel. I doubt Tamiya would have more than one production line going of the exact same wheel...

I was pretty sure the Castrol NSX has Volks TE37 wheels...

They are for all practical purposes the same diameter. The Skyline ones are a tiny (tiny!) bit smaller, but that may be because they don't have a layer of chrome (it's that small a difference).

However! Be warned that the NSX has skinny wheels up front, fat wheels in the back. The NSX rear wheels are the same as all four Skyline wheels, but the NSX front wheels are about 4mm narrower.

Are you on the hunt for some NSX rims and tires and tire decals by any chance? I got some I won't mind unloading.

Thanks, I would consider them for my 350Z GT-R project if they were larger diameter, but I think I'll work with what I've got.

Thanks for your help, guys!

i'd still assume they'd be the same size though, most likely use the same tyres.....
