Initial D on arcade

Hey well just wanted to know if everyone is aware of the fact that initial d is an arcade game, maybe greg and john know because they have the arcade at pier39 i think or one of the thirites piers, but anyway they also have it at Boomers (miniature golf/go carts/arcade place) in modesto its bad as hell. So for 5 coins you can purchase a save card so everytime you go play it you can start off where you last saved on your memory card, is that not totally awesome or what!?!?!?!? so it also prints on your card your save name (mine is PEZ thats my game name for any game) and the car you are playing with. it is just like the series with the same people with their same cars that you race and the same mountain passes, so keep a lookout for the game at your local arcade  heres a pic of the memory card thingy

Heh, thats been out for awhile. Pier has Version 1 still (orange card) Theres a bunch of golflands that have it but are ver2 (blue card). Ver2 has a few more tracks and a couple more cars. I was kinda itno it when i first played but never had much time to. My friends played it all the time though..but not much recently.

I just found it here in Tulsa, we have ver. 2. But one of the steering wheels is already broke, doesn't have any feed back on it, and its a bitch to find center. Right now Im just on Shingo, which I have to remember the trick to beating him since I haven't watched the series in a long time. lol

??

Can anybody fill me in on whats so tight about this game?....Im not hatin or nuthin, I havnt been to an arcade in a long ass time and I went to one just recently and seen this game (Ver.2). I was excited till I seen how much the card was, it didnt grab me at first. I'm a die hard GT2 fan of the PS1, I base all car games off of that game. Dont get me wrong, I seen some excitement in the game, just nothing that was out the norm. Can sumone fill me in?

My friend lent me his Modded PS2 and he has Initial D: Special Stage which is the arcade game for PS2. It's a blast and just like the arcade, except no wheel and shifter, but i'm sure you can hook one up just by buying one. We also have the arcade game near me and i've got I think 5 cards, 2 newer ones and 3 from the version 1.

I wasnt saying you couldnt, i was just asking why you were, didnt know if you had a reason or just didnt notice capslock was on. Most people takes all caps as yelling online.

5 tokens where i play, thats a measly 1.25, anyways whats so tight about it, its just like the series, so if you dont love the series then whatever, its tight because its exactly like it, even the courses. any game that you can drift in is hella fun and not ps2 and all that because you cant actually use the pedals the shifter and the wheel with home games, i thought it wouldnt be that hard to drift, ya right so hard to do it good, my boyfriend plays battlegear everyday on his break from work and i went with him one time and hes been playing for so long and he can drift mad good, but anyways

Why don't you play GT3? its a lot better than 2, but both are good games.

On the ID Arcade game, it is alot easier for me to drift on it than it is GT3, but that is mainly because i have the pedals and wheel right there, and able to use my left foot brakeing to break the back of the car loose.
