remove the plastic front.. take out all screws. some on the back too, then switch out the entire speedo gauge, its attached to the odometer. i am just guessing, never actually done it before. or you could stick a drill into the speedo cable port and wind back the miles

aright man, thanks. im so slow, i shoulda known them screws wuz holden sumthin in. i woulda had to run up tha miles neways. i think tha crx it came out of wuz wrecked back in like 92 or sumthin, it only had 58 k on tha odometer. mine has i think 76, not a lot at all fo a 88.

76k? thats gotta be a lowest mileage 4thgen record lemme guess, an elderly couple owned it, and didnt even drive it to church on sunday?

i got my 89 a year ago with 64,000KM... couldnt believe it. just some old lady who never even hit 5th gear.

yeah about that cluster, should be pretty straight forward.. or just use the 58 k

Re: Re: Re: switching odometers

i donno who owned this car before me, i jus know they kept it outside during hail storms, so many dints, its mean. i have to fill them up soon.

i just put in my gsr center console, but mines a dx, and not stick, and that console is ugly wit tha auto shifter, so i put tha boot over the shifter, haha. its aright though, i kno where tha gears r. g-h-e-t-t-o.

i need to get a manual swap, do u kno how much that would range from? my brother said it would be like 2000$, for installation n everything. i used to drive my x gurls stick a lil, so i have experience, i just wunt it in my car.
