Help me spec out two 240s...please?

All right, I need some ideas on how to spec out a 240SX...virtually. I've been working on some racing stories, and there are two 240s involved. I just need help with the RMS13 hatch and an S14, both kouki. Actually, there are three, now that I think about it. The third is a zenki S14, but it plays a minor part. Just so you know, these are not 'drift' cars.

Tell me what you think of my ideas, and feel free to add to them.
RMS13 240SX Hatch
Engine: KA24DE-T, stock internals.
Crank hp: 200-220.
Suspension: KYB GR-2 shocks and struts, Eibach Pro-Kit springs.
That's about all I have so far. I was planning on a homegrown turbo kit, since the owner is a DIYer on a budget. What are some good wheels for this car? Nothing too big, a 16 inch diameter at most. What's a good color?

MCS14 240SX
Engine: RB26DETT(flame suit on )
Crank hp: ~570
Suspension: Tein EBD, ST anti-roll bars.
The kouki S14 is another matter. It's one of the hero's cars, so it has to be very good. The 240 basically becomes a testbed/marquee car for a performance shop, so it gets the best parts available. I'm wondering about wheels in this case, too. How about Volk CP28Ns? I wanted the color to be dark grey or silver.

Anyway, I just want to make sure you 240 guys are represented well. Help me help you.

i'd like to know where this is going to. but to add an opinion on the 240 hatch: i'd say gold advan rg's and paint the car blue, like the calsonic color.

I started working on these stories a long time ago. This thread shows how long I've been working on it.
Old, old thread
Right now, I'm just trying to get some details filled in. A lot of things have changed, too. I started actually writing in January, and it's much better than the initial concept.

That's a good idea. The Advans would need to be small, though. The hatch owner is on a tight budget. She's a DIYer.

It's a homegrown kit made from junkyard parts. This story is supposed to be somewhat realistic. I use the names of real parts, real roads, real driving techniques/physics, etc. Can a KA even hold 35psi on stock internals?

I'm planning on getting these stories published as an anthology when I'm finished. Right now, I'm fixing a few things in the first part, and the second part is almost finished. I hope to be well into the third and final part by the end of the year.
Hopefully, this could be a movie. I've got a marketing degree, and I've included a lot of qualities that I think would make it a good sell. For example, the cars aren't anything special(not much cosmetic prep needed, nothing too rare), and there aren't a lot of big stunts(won't use/destroy a bunch of cars), so the filming budget would be pretty low.

If anyone wants to actually see what I do with the S14, let me know. I think you guys will like it. Both S14s don't appear until the second part, btw.

Yeah, I know how unglamorous my story sounds. I hope to make up for it with good action, though.

My story is only about racing, without any 'Point Break' style undercover cop stuff. I include a bit of romance, and a lot of humor at the expense of posers and ricers who don't know what they're talking about. There's a pretty funny excerpt I posted in that old thread. Check page 2.

I have nitrous in it, but there's none of the 'push button' simplicity involved. I show the trouble involved with improper use, too.
There's some nice girls too, but not as many, and 2 of the 3 girls dress pretty modestly.
There's a bodybuilder-looking guy in the second part.hehe

I've got it all covered, except for making sure the cars are kitted out properly.hehe

in that case use some old school style wheels like the watanbe rs8, check them out on the new 240sx only new shipment on www.jpec.com . 16" rg's are still expensive.

I looked up those Watanabes, and they aren't bad. They remind me a bit too much of the wheels from the Initial D car, but they're still nice. I think I'll go with either those or the SSR Reverse Formula Mesh. Is either available in gold? I like the idea of a blue/gold color combo.

I'm 23, and I drive a '99 Maxima.

You did read the part where I said I was just writing about them, right? If I owned either the hatch or the coupe, I probably wouldn't have to ask 240 owners about good parts for these cars...right?

You know if you're serious about this thing you should ask for the manufacturer's permissions to mention their products in the story.
