Kinda sucks about the pics, mine look the same way with my webcam ![]() The kit is looking good tho Very Very nice.

Here are pics of the actual pieces. What I need help doing is painting the Flat Black (B). The paint goes in grooves and I have never done it before.

Add a really thin semi gloss black to the groves, and they automatically run to fill the gap.
Enamel is best for this, and you are looking for a 50/50 mix of black and thinner. Use a small brush too! |

JE123, I just did that exact same thing on my 1969 Camaro.
It has a grill (chrome plated) and it has grooves like yours. I painted the middle of it flat black using a toothpick to get the paint into the grooves. Then I went over that several times with a brush to even it out. It looked a little gloppy in the grooves but it looks good now that it's dried. I had to touch up a few spots on the grill the next day as the paint doesn't want to stick to the chrome too well. Hope this helps, Macka PS Yikes! I'm giving advice here?!? |
