Lots of (crazy) folks have done this. Check out the message archives at mkiv.com or supraforums.com.

Sure people have done it.
What yr. Supra do you own?
If you've got an MKIV, I'd go BPU first.
Even APU before I wanted to mess with N2O...
Simply not quite needed.

Why argue nescessity?

I've been thinking of doing it. Leaving everything stock including exhaust and then sneek up on some people at a stoplight. That and all my Turbo badging is gone.

SE = Normally Aspirated.
In other words, not turbocharged.

LOL! Man I hope you're joking cuz if not then you need to stop watching F&F and get a grip!

Anyway back to the topic...there's no reason to run any nitrous on a MKIV as you can certanly make them quick enough without it. Simple bolt ons are more than enough. BTW...um where'd you get a '99 MKIV anyway? Grey market?

The supra in the movie IS that fast, it CAN beat a Ferrari, and it WILL beat you. If you dont believe me, check out suprastore.com. There is a 490 BPU kit for sale that the producers of The F&F put in that orange supra. I would love to see your dumb ass Civic beat any MKIV. Oh yea, one last thing. I have civic-eating parts...

how fast was the supra in F&F, i think it was under 11 sec. 1/4 mile

so it would have killed that Ferrari in the movie, by ALOT more than it did
they just didn't want to make the Ferrari look TOO bad
