N/A b16

What are some things I could do to build it up? I don't want to go turbo or nitrous I think it'd be more of a challenge this way. Help is appreciated.

Cams, high compression pistons, head work, balance/blueprint bottom end, there's a lot you could do, the only limit is how much you wanna spend.

I know cams and pistons are expensive but how much would it cost to completely rebuild the engine, and what power gains could i expect as opposed to forced induction?

GSR block, CTR cams, JDM ITR header with 2.5" collector, 2.5" exhuast, AEM CAI, ITR IM..

That would be a nice little setup with not too much money spent...

Siz why dont u just tell the whole world about my plans. haha But seriously siz is right. YOu should find yourself a bare gsr or type r block and build it from there. I mean if u want to hit 12s i would do the block swap. IF your just want to hit 13s then yeh build b16 up. The whole skunk2 head package should cost around 1600-1800 with there manifold. Get it p&p and if you want go high compression go with 12:1 thats the highest u can go on pump gas. I would suggest eagle rods or crower rods. Balance and blue print everything as mentioned earlier and polish your crank. Upgrade ignition . You can upgrade your fuel but its not really neccessary. Chip your ecu or get a v-tec controller. OR get the aem ems to get the most out of your car. Find yoursel an LSD to help to get the power to the wheels. Theres alot u can do but this is some of it. I'm glad your goin all motor. Wise choice my friend!

Got boost?
