Swedish model kit stores ??

I've made the decision to start and model car after a 10 year brake or so ... as an angry 14 year old I remember giving up quite easily on every attempted model ... but when browsing this great forum I really got the urge to try some again ...

I've read and re-read the FAQ's and all ... and have just a small question to any fellow Swedish or Scandinavian modellers ..

Where do you buy the kits from ? any good recommendations of a swedish kit store ? with a online shop if possible.

Or do you just order from places like HJL and 1999.co.jp ??

Looking forward to start shopping for kits, tools and other fun things ...

Any little tip is welcome !

/ Dan

Thumbs up

Alright Dan,
Im in Sweden too but im gonna write in English. I usually buy my kits and stuff from HLJ coz it's quite cheap, especially if you throw a big order at them. There are quite a number of places here in Sweden where you can buy (limited selection) tamiya kits too like www.bosseshobby.se or www.pumahobby.se. If your in stockholm then you can visit wentzels hobby by "GALLERIAN" or "TENNSOLDATEN".
These places arent cheap though and you wont find any other tamiya stuff there, just the models. I was at wentzels in July and bought a 360 spider there and it cost me 400 crowns. Puma hobby has tamiya acrylics and promise to start selling ts cans soon, we'll see. I suggest you make a big order from HLJ, tamiya Kits, ts-cans, tamiya wax, tamiya putty, tamiya, a few sets of rims and back spoilers and whatever else you find there.
Good luck
MVH, Mike.
ps, if you fancy a chat in swedish then you can always send me an e-mail through the forum.
