Hennessey

I know that Hennessey have had some not so satisfied customers, and that he is a crook, according to many (Except from people who live in Texas). I saw one post where he was also referred to as John "the tin-man" Hennessey, and I presume this is referred to his work on vipers.

But... If you did get Hennessey to do a job on your car, and he did'nt rip you off in the process, would the, for instance 650r or the 800tt be a good packadge for a viper if you additionally have someone upgrade the suspention?

I know that DLM, SVS, and others have a much better reputation but I can't help to be amazed every time I see one of Hennesseys vipers.

Why? DLM and SVS can build you a faster Viper. There is nothing special about a Hennessy. I would never buy one.

last year car and driver did a thing with super cars and one was a hennesee viper and they said they had a huuuuge problem with customer service "n" stuff

Who do you know that has actually bought a Stryker? I certainly don't know anyone, and I don't see anyone bragging about it on the VCA forums (if they did). The only one tooting their trumpet are the guys from SVSi.

SVS can beat hms at the viper land speed record (256mph). The brand new 1000TT from hennessey is a work of art. Also, if you're impressed by the look of the hennessey venom, you can purchase the venom aero package to create the body effects that you like, then purchase a more reliable system for the engine. I do believe hennessey has more performance, but their reputation for quality isn't the best. I've heard stories of people having to rebuild their engines and such after racing their venom, and that shouldn't be necessary off of a gas powered car.

I forgot to add the 1000TT has a record of 8.93 in the 1/4 at 145mph and a 0-60 of 1.85seconds...

You don't know squat about Hennessey. he is the most dishonest tuner on Earth and you would be an idiot if you chose him. Taig Stewart took that idiot to court and it took more than 2 years for Hennessey to finally deliver. That doesn't count the dozens of Viper owners who never got their money back.

The Viper community is loaded with dishonest tuners.

Ive also heard numerous things about HMS not being able to deliver on said things as performance customer service and just being a downright scammer....but thats neither here nor there... As for Heffners, everyhitng I have heard about them is pretty much good, and mayeb its cuz they are from my home town. I also know that Jason Heffner is an avid street racer. Ive seen him race numerous times in Maryland....Im pretty sure he delivers on what he claims. No bs with heffners.

i have a Heffner car, and Jason Heffner delivered on EVERYTHING and more than he promised. my car is a beast, beautiful, and solid. i HAMMER my car and it doesnt even wink. i love my car, and if anybody considers a tuner, jason heffner should be on the top of your list.
