skunk2 front Upr Ctrl Arm "Question"

Been watching u regs chat on here for quite some time. Learned alot just from reading up on this forum
This is my first post (btw i'm only spelling everything out for the newbies cuz i was one once--didnt know squat & still learning ) I've researched this & havn't found a damn thing on it...
My question is--Will the front upper control arm from a 5th generation( 1992-1995 )civic hatch bolt up onto the 4th generation( 1988-1991 )civic hatch??? On my 4th gen I cannot extend the front upr cntrl arm out very far ( like if i was to use an ingals front camber kit----fully extended )w/o the arm hitting the fender well and interfearing with the suspension travel......only unless i was to do some cutting of the fender well BUT If i'm gonna have to do some cutting then i might as well get the SKUNK2 kit if it fits the 4th gen ( becuz IMO ingals front kit is retarded.....too hard to install, adjust etc. ) If the 5th gen Upr Ctrl Arm does fit i realize i am gonna have to do some cutting to the fender well......so thats no big deal ( i'm prepared for that) My main question again is WILL THIS ARM (from a 5th gen )BOLT UP TO A 4TH GEN????
If it does i wanna get a SKunk2 adjustable camber kit and slapppp it on there baby!!
SKUNK2 does not make the adjustable camber cntrl arm for the 4th Gen ( most likely bcuz there's fender well cutting involved ) but i was curious to see if there was another reason ( like if it is becuz it does not bolt up to the f-ckin thing at all ??? Thanx hope this is easy to understand

I don't know the answer to your question, but one way that I have tested for exchangeability of parts is to call a dealer, ask for the part # to the first one, write it down, ask for the part # to the second one, and then compare. If they are the same, or similar, they will probably bolt on. It would be then that I would go to a wrecking yard and pick one up and try it out. It would sure be a lot less painful than getting the skunk2 kit and finding out it doesn't work. You might also try calling skunk2 and asking their advice.

Just my thoughts, hope they help...

I know it is a bit pricey, but they are the ONLY upper arm like that out there. There is no competition, I guess they figure, if you want them, you will pay for them. I was going to buy them myself, but don't have the cash for them right now. I just hope when I do have the cash they are still available.

actually after calling some folks that sell these upper arms from VISION ......i learned that they dont correct the camber caused by lowering your vehicle.......they ACTUALLY make it worse..........
these are supposed to be used for racing purposes........they pull the top of the wheel inward....which makes for a more stable turn......
however this extremely shortens your tires life
