The real point of "wings"

Ok i may be wrong but arnt wings designed to keep the ass of your car pushed to the ground because of wind forcing it down? and thats only at high speeds like 150-200 mph. My real question is if the above info is true then why do FWD cars have them!

ive seen some stock wings that were rediculous also.

but most people add them on to look cool when they serve no purpose.

i guess to answer the question it's because real road cars take turns at a high rate of speed and it's good to have the ass end stable and planted. and goin down str8's at very high speeds would be a good situation to have the ass end planted. but on regular cars, it's just for looks

Well then if you think about it, what are ground effects for?? They are to keep you from floating around at high speed also, but i doubt that most people with ground effects are doin 150 alll the time, So are you saying ground effects are ricey to.

yes technically it could be ricey, but the thing about not being rice is doing it in good nature...
