Linkin Park - My December

the PERFECT song. Especially if you're listening to it, then a girl walks up... and you look all glum.. they wanna make your day.

I love anything on the Linkin Park CD for getting out anger!

When I'm down I listen to Martina McBride "Evolution" or Sarah McLachlan "Surfacing"

When I'm happy I listen to Pink, or Eiffel65, or Craig David... anything with a dancing beat to make me want to bounce around in my seat!

Absolutely!! I can relate to lots of great music like that. My personal favorite song, for years and years now (since my senior year of high school.. so 1995), has been Like Suicide, by Soundgarden (it's on the "Superunknown" album, and don't be fooled by a somewhat decrepid title - it's a beautiful song). Great for when I'm feeling a little down, or just to really get into some music, for letting out emotion.

I have to admit that I am a big fan of "Hybrid Theory," Linkin Park's album. I enjoy it a lot. In the End is for me too a song I feel like I can relate to. I also like Plush by STP, and Release by Pearl Jam (as you can tell I like a lot of the "oldies").

More recently, I've been listening and feeling a little bit of Severed by Mudvayne, Scissors by Slipknot, and Solitaire Unraveling by Mushroomhead ("XX" by Mushroomhead, their album, which was released this Tuesday, December 4th, I have to admit is a real disappoinment, except for SU, which I think is a great track.. reminiscient of Blood, Milk, and Sky by White Zombie).

:ylsuper Right on man!! I love the album. And Fresh Tendrils, Fell on Black Days, Fourth of July, all great songs (and oh yeah, the acoustic Like Suicide is also incredible). Because that album was SO damned good, I will probably never miss another Chris Cornell release again. I think he is probably the best song-writer in the genres of hard rock/heavy metal today. I am very anxious for his forth-coming release now that he is with RATM (which I understand post-Zach LaRocha will have a new name).. whenever that happens to be.

You know Steel, I've never been able to get into Nothing Else Matters. Not to criticize your choice or anything.. I've just never been able to gain much affection for it. But To Live is to Die is just about Metallica at their best, far as I'm concerned. For me, "Justice" defined Metallica. That is their essential release. We'll see what they do now that James is out of rehab

Would you Marry me?

Depending on how im feeling I might listen to some Pinkfloyd, or maybe some Pinkfloyd, or occasionaly some Pinkfloyd.
In fact Iv even been known to listen to some Pinkfloyd.

If Iv just ended a relationship then Lisa Lobb's first album is a good one.
Or if im missing someone than Breaths, self titled first album.
If im angry, I have on old Deep Purple album my brother dubbed for me that is just perfect to drive fast too.
Creams, Freash Cream is a great happy or need a pick me up album,
and balls of fire is nice to just sit back and listen too.
Thick as a Brick by Jethro Tull is great if im feeling frustrated.
