There are much better mods than a vtec swap. vtec aint all that IMO. How much money are you willing to spend?

how much does vtec really add? i mean from the s to si its really just about 25 hp.....and then to vtec its 30hp from the si....but i mean i heard that hp only comes in when you are at high rpms....so im guessing the s si and vtec all pretty much accelerate the same correct? and then the vtec only really shines when your hitting like what 5000-6200 rpm? and what else can you really add to make your car faster.....i found that exhaust and stuff like air intakes arent that beneficial since the intake only adds like 2-3 hp at the wheel and stuff you know what i mean? so its like spend 500-1000 bucks for an extra 10-15 hp? are their other things that can drastically boost hp like 10hp maybe at a time? thanks
