Where can I get the Aoshima Drift Machine JZX100 Chaser?

I really really want a JZX100 Chaser model and this one looks like the best. Does anyone know where I can get this kit from? 1999.co.jp have it on their site but it is sold out, are they likely to get more stock? Also if anyone has built this kit please post a pic.

hey man, I have been looking for this kit for long time. It has been out of production long time ago......damn......it comes with tuned muffler, recaro seats etc......

there are not much choices left for chaser, the GTwing version and the Blitz.

I think Aoshima has put the Drift master series oop soon, maybe coz' the Drift Master series contains too many hop up option which is costy to them......e.g. Racing Seats, OOP RIMS (Soarer comes with BBS DTM, Chaser comes with OZ Tourismo, etc), Metalized Tuned Muffler......and it was priced at 1800 yen only......I think it is pretty cheap pricing tho

wish you get one from hlj!

The amount of plastic doesn't really mean much, because molten plastic only costs less than $1.00 per kit. Instead, they have made the expensive mold, so they have to sell many.
Injection machine can produce a few thousand kits in a matter of a week, so it's not necessarily operating all the time. And as far as I know, only Tamiya and Bandai has its own injection machines, and the rest is out-sourcing the job. That's why there is a log gap between the production runs.
