what kind of mileage can i expect from a 5.0 liter mustang (bout a 1990) if i mod it?

With stock gears, good drivetrain (no leaks or anything), maybe 25mpg on the highway.

25 mpg seems pretty high. I think it's more like 18/22, city/highway. I get about 10-12 mpg around town.

I figured with 3.08s, .67 5th gear, and @ 70mph, they should do about 26-27. That's basing off of my car though.
