Yellow is a dealer plate, so i"m guessing it's through a small dealer.

I just can't believe there is a skyline in Toronto, before I could get mine, damn it!

Bingo!

It means the car isnt actualy registered as a Skyline.
Its just getting around with the dealer plate on it untill the dealer can either sell it to some sucker who thinks it can be registered, or get it complianced by motorex and sell it in the US or turn it into a race car, or export it out of Canada.

what about keeping it as a show car.....i'm not sure in canada but i understand in the US you can bring a car and not have it DOT aproved as long as its registered as a show car the catch being that you cannot drive more than 3000 miles a year or something like that...

btw this is just something i heard if i'm wrong please inform me

Your right you can import a Skyline to Canada as long as it's a show car only, which means you can't drive it on the streets.Saturday I will go to see it and try to get some answers.
