Cold as ice?

Does anyone know what kind of gains you get by putting an intercooler on a 4 cyl non turbo application? And would you need the turbo exhuast manifold to complete this task?..any help would be sweet tits cause I really can't picture how the intercooler would give any signif gains without a turbo feeding it.

intercoolers are for turbo applications only, if you had one and could back it up with no turbo then u will get laughed at. get either a cold air intake, or the arospeed front mount intake

An intercooler doesn't do anything on a N/A motor because there is no turbo/supercharger to heat up the air. All it will do is be a restriction in your inlet.

lol...I made the assumption that it couldn't be done. Thanks guys for the info...I was wondering though if I was going turbo if that could be set up first...purchase the intercooler and the exhaust manifold. Or does it all have to be assembled at once? Thanks again

lol...I guess I should just do it that way...I am just so damn impatient. Just metal and motor right now, all I need is the power to make it a bad bitch. I will just smoke a cig like one of the standard smilies until I can get all the parts I need.
