underdrive pulleys
alright i wanted to put the performance underdrive pulleys on my 97 formula since my waterpump just went, and one of my friends says dont get the alternater pulley becuse it actually would take power away because its spinning less and my other friend says that no they make it in such a way that it doesnt take power away. also i dont have a water pump pulley so i need to know which friend is right if i should get both or just the one.

Re: underdrive pulleys
well since its up here, ill post... if you are going to replace water pump might wanna take a look at the distributor while the water pump is off. Cuz on the LT1 the distributor sits behind the water pump so if you ever gotta replace it you gotta pull it off again. Also if you are gonna do any other performance mods you might as well put an electric pump while your at it...
