jus get a supercharger or a turbo youll be fine

swapping is time and money. if your going to pay for that keep the engine but blue print it or something like that cause cost could be close to purchase new tib motor and change it out. just swap out your cams and you'll be about the samehp as the tibs

Pardon my stupidity... but from what I last understood, the Elantra and Tiburon engines are the same...
someone mind correcting me on this?? |

the newer ones are the same motor but the older ones are I think 1.8 with low duration cams thats why I said to swap cams depending on the year. tranny will make a big diff too.
