Bullsh*t....Road Rage Caution

Last night at 10.05pm The local Police called around:
PC Plod: Is that your car Sir the Silver one?
Me: Yes
PC :Can I come in?
Me: Yes Why?
PC: Just go in Sir well let you.
PC: Were you travelling south on the M?? on 12th August at 8-10am?
Me: Yes Why?
PC: We have a report that you were involved in a road rage incident
Me: Ehhhh.......What?

PC: A woman in a Blue **** reported that you were behind her in the outside lane of a cone down section (2 lanes)
and were pushing here down the motorway trying to get her to brake the 70 mph limit. she was so frighten
she almost crashed into the central barrier then you flashed your lights for her to move over
on passing you gave her a hand signal (the bird). Is this so?

Me: Oh that woman. sort of true but now quite as it happened. It was two lanes (no speed restriction) and she was in the outside lane
doing 50 mph (could have done 70 legally) and we left the coned section and after a mile she was still in the outside
lane doing 50-55 mph, There was nothing in the other two lanes so Yes I flashed her cause it was annoying me a bit you understand?
As I passed her she gave me the wrist action hand signal, so yes I replied with the middle finger. It not something I do often but..

PC: I doubt she was lying as she works for the Police on conmunications at our new HQ. do you know that Road Rage has a max fine of 1000 pounds or a prison sentence.

Me : You having a laugh

PC: You do know your Highway Code don't you sir, you do read it often!.

Me: Well I read it 19 years ago when I took my test but no not since

PC: Well Sir you should never use your light in this fashion etc etc (he went on for another 5 mins)

Me: So am I nicked Sir.

PC : No Sir not at this time, She just wants you to have a talking to and a offical written caution.

Me : So I could counter complain about her hand signal?

PC: Yes Sir if you wish

Me: Sorry but no it's far to petty
OK Sir (Shaking head in disbelief at this waste of Police time, I got burgled a few years ago and they were to busy to come) I won't do it again.

PC: Right Sir, please sign this and it'll go on our Computers and if we have an reports that you are causing Road Rage again we will take action. Good Night

At the end of this conversion I asked the PC if flashing a car out at a junction is Road Rage and are hand signal Road Rage and the Answer is Yes
So sorry if I'm at a junction and I don't flash you out or wave if I see you......................

thats bunk ... reminds me of the time the cops went to my friends house talking bout how they had mass complaints against his silver prelude speeding in residental neighborhood ... i told my friend not to get that damn wing, cause if he didnt it woulda looked like the many other silver preludes in my town ... anyways they didnt do shit to him, just told him to slow down.
