Getting a 91 240sx coupe in a week, would like some info

In about a week or so im getting a 91 coupe, its in great shape except the front end is all primer. Not cause of an accident, cause the idiot wanted to paint over the perfectly good stock paint. And the clutch is completely burnt (or so he says, im hoping its linkage or something). But anyway im only payin $100 for the car, its got 89k miles and the interior is beautiful.

I was just wondering if you guys could hook me up w/ some pages about 240sx's, and pages with part. I searched google and found some good stuff but im always happy t ofind a new site with good info or parts.

Im not gonna rice this car up, no body kit, no erector set wing or tin can exhaust.

I do want to put some work into the engine. Suggestions are greatly welcomed. Since Im saving money on the car ill have money to spend on doing work to it.

$100, i hate you too the freakin silencers on my exhaust cost $120.....

attached is a zip file from my internet explorer favorites that i've been collecting for the last year. just unzip and drag into your favorites folder. hopefully someone somewhere can find this useful...

yes it is a great deal, but after towing and titel transfer it will be about $200, if that makes you feel any better.

Thanks everyone for all the info, it all helped a lot. When i get the car towed to my house. Its gonna be my new project car so ill take pictures every setp i take. I need a name for it though "Project: something", eh maybe not but it would be cool, i hope to have it to my house by this weekend or the following.

I don't understand. How did you get that car soooooo cheap. What do you have, a cracked out buddy that needed some quick cash for some rock? At least That's how I got mine so cheap (I paid $300 for a 91 240sx SE w/Hicas).

I heard from another friend it might not be worth it, he told me there is other stuff wrong with it this is what he said...

the windshield is cracker pretty bad (not good, wont pass inspection)
the brakes and tires arent good ($100-$200 tops)
the timing is off (no big deal, my uncle is a mechanic and has a gun)
the tranny wont go into gear (could be lots of things, hopefully linkage)
the body doesnt line up (frustrating to fix but not hard)

what does everyone think? worth it? i think im still going to get it
