Depends on color of car. Lately, the racing white rims have been looking really nice to me. But if you don't like that, gunmetal is always cool.

if you read the thread in the link, you would notice that i have a white civic. i want white, but they will be really hard to keep clean, so i'm leaning towards gunmetal now.

man, you must have gold trim and chrome fender flares and a low rider too. what bad taste. IT'S A CIVIC! NOT A RIVIERA! Plus if you look at the link, they don't even make gold or bronze. damn!

your an idiot.....yeah thats what I meant....Gold Plated...that would be blingin Gold and Bronze look good with white and they are very JDM. Perhaps when you actually do some reaserch and stop acting like a fuckin O.G. Thug and respect someone elses opinions then maybe you will understand the process of powdercoating.

buying the wheels themselves is expensive enough without powercoating em. plus how is gold or bronze jdm? last time i checked, type r's come with white or silver. and even if i'm wrong about that, in my personal opinion chrome, bronze, and gold all look like SHIT on ANY car. chrome looks alright on trucks, but that's about it.

I have white wheels and they are not as hard to keep clean as you think. White powder coated wheels clean easily, white painted wheels on the other hand... STAY AWAY!!

I use that Eagle 1 A2Z all wheel cleaner on mine and they clean right up you don't even have to scrub.

Yeah, they come in painted white, and I am not gonna shell out the extra cash to get em powdercoated, just to make em easier to clean. I have looked at gunmetal a bunch and I don't feel that they contrast with the tire color that much, and it makes the whole tires/wheel area to look like it's black. I think I am going to go with silver, as common as it is, but there is a reason for that, because they are most versatile color.

I didnt realize you are going to get MR7's... that is what I have on my car, in white, and it is powdercoat. They are easy to clean in my opinion. Maybe your friend messed up their finish or something. All you would ever want to rub the wheels with is a sponge or a towel, nothing harsh or you will mess up the finish and they will be much harder to clean. This is the case with pretty much any wheel unless they are bare aluminum anyways.

Lightbulb

Why even bother asking other people what color rims to get for your car? Why not make the decision yourself? After all, you're the one who has to drive the car everyday, thus, you have to live with whatever you get. I mean, if we all suggested you get those rims that loolike daisies, would you do it? Just pick out a set of rims that YOU like, and be done with it.
