Tranny ?

For those of you with DET conversions and/or wanting 250+ from the engine ... what do you do to the tranny if anything to strengthen it for the increased power? I've heard of welding the tranny case, but internally?

Also, the GT25 (?) BB turbo gits on the BB manifold?

Most people with Manual transmission have Cryogenically treated the gears and welded the case. Automatic transmissions have been sent out to Level 10 for a complete build up! I am not too sure about how much power the automatic trannies have held! The Manual trannies have held 500+ hp, but the length of time in which they last is up in the air!
