I'm looking at a 97 Civic EX 2 Dr. coupe for my wife so she can stop whippin' my Accord. It's in NY, no rust, a couple dings & scratches, moonroof, 5 spd. w/ 116,000 miles. My question to you's guys is : What do we think its worth?

Well my civic was just like that except with only 92 thousand miles, and i only paid 5 thousand for it but i think we got a pretty good deal with it.

test drove it ....runs good , everything works. Should be locking the deal tomorrow for $3500 ($3753 w/ tax) from a local Honda dealer where I used to detail. Any trade-in w/ over 100,000 usually goes to auction.

I paid $5K for the same car ('97 Civic EX coupe 5-spd 116K mi.) in May 2003 in Massachusetts. Had to fix right front boot, replace exhaust manifold (dealer warranty, no $). Since then had to replace exhaust (went with Apexi WS), and A/C compressor. Everything else OK.

I bought a 97 EX from my sister for a 91 Jeep Wrangler + $2100 (about $5000). It has 125,000 miles and she had it since new, so it is in awesome shape.
