V6 exhaust How restrictive?
I was just curious as to how restrictive the stock exhaust really is. Is it really worth the money to buy a cat back exhaust? Another thing is if I do go with aftermarket I want something that has a deep sound to it. I dont want anything close to sounding RICEY. What brand would you guys recommend? Thanks

Dump her
Hey well you sound like a muscle performance person...
the way to get away from Rice performance is to think bigger is better... have a professional welder with a muffler shop cut out your Resonator (the first muffler) then have him fit a pipe back to the muffler but right before the muffler have him build you a dump to pass everything out first... that way you sound like you are running headers only until you screw the dump back on. if you live in dallas you cant go wrong with Nick's Mufflers (972) 447-9270...he does great work... |

Re: V6 exhaust How restrictive?
on 6gen accord v6 exhaust system is very free flowing, so by going to aftermarket catback you will get different sounding system, some gain at top RPM range and lost at bottom RPM range.
if you want to change sound of exhaust i recommend to get Comptech axlebacks.
