Angry HELP! parking/turn signal lights won't shut off

My parking/turn signal lights won't shut off when I shut the car off, it doens't happen all of the time but it's frustrating. I have to go around the block or something else and park again and shut the car off again and then the lights might shut off. It's weird. I also noticed that sometimes when I am driving during the day that the instrument panel will light up. Now, I don't know if the parking lights are coming on as this is happening but I did notice last night that the instrument panel lights didn't go out when I shut the car off. Yes, the parking lights were still on.
Has anyone had a similar problem and if so, what was the fix?
I appreciate any input, Thanks

Do you have an aftermarket alarm system installed?

Thanks for responding. I have no aftermarket items installed. It's all stock. The lights did it to me tonight when I came to work. They wouldn't shut off. I just backed the car up and pulled forward a couple of times and then they went out when I shut the car off. I don't know what to make of it. I was hoping someone would have an idea or if the problem other people had experienced with Alero.

Same promblem

I just picked up the car and don’t know much about it, But I am having the same problem. It started after I disconnected the battery. It has to be the alarm and the siren has been taken out of this car. I am wondering if they had the same problem and that is why they disabled the siren. Have you had any luck finding a solution?

Found a swicth

I found a switch in the glove box. It helped me rest the lights always going off and on. I just placed the key to the on positions when I was playing with it.
