Sounds like you have a blown head gasket. Also check your radiatior to see if it's clogged or the fins have rotted off.

yeah i have a 91 civic lx and i had a blown head gasket, hint of water in my oil and antifreeze kept dissappearing, it was coming out my exhaust in a whitish smoke. i replaced the head intake and exhaust gaskets "(it took 3 days a few hours each day)" had to have the head shaved and had it pressure tested, but about a month or so later it happened again i didnt change the water pump which i should have, i did change the radiator cause the old one was clogged and the radiator i installed was used and i should have had it pressure tested cause it doesnt hold pressure, basically i did a half azz job and got half azz result, but now i've parked the car and im planning to do a zc swap and just change the whole engine, but changing the head exhaust and intake gaskets isnt that hard if u have a little knowledge of vehicles, and invest in rebuildable book for 4g civics helps a great deal. and im no mechcanic, but if ur gonna do it, change as much as possible so u wont have to later. thats my 2 cents
