HELP! best way to make a 2002 C5 targa in electron blue?

I really need to make a 2002 C5 Vette. I've really wanted to get one for my old man. its his car, its his birthday, I just think that would be a perfect present. All I can find is old 97 style in mostly convertable or Z06. 2002 has the more slimline 5 spoke wheels. I need a paint to match the electron blue color. its a blue like say the infamous B series '00 Civic SI (right?) with a smere of pearl. I know its not totally candy. whats the easiest way to replicate something like that? Please

I just know that Chevrolet's Electron Blue Metallic and Honda's Electron Blue Pearl are not the same.

The Vette color is just a nice light metallic blue, no real pearl to it...

I'm thinking you will have to buy a couple of kits to kit bash to get it just right. Maybe buy the Z06 it and one of the convertible kits to get everything you need. Same goes for the wheels. Not sure what comes close to them.

Revell has a 1997 C-5 Hardtop OOP kit, and revell also has the 1998 C-5 Convertable (The convertable has the rims you need) Both kits are starting to become hard to find. I do happen to have the 97 Hardtop body, which, if i remember right, its still unpainted. I also have the C-5 Convert rims somewhere......
