Those two swaps would be extremely trick and difficult, but yes we can do it. Feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected] for more information on anything you seen and may be interested in.

Did you get some error message or something? Everytime I go to the site, the !@#$% seems to be working fine. You're the second person who has told me about a mishap with the site. I'm really angry over this @#$% because I designed it myself (30+hrs). Please tell me what you see when you press this link. homepage

i was wondering if it is possible to put a 1.8t from a '00 golf and drop it into a 97 golf. is the engine compartment big enough for it and how much work would it be, cuase i found some engines for pretty cheap

Re: engine swap

its possible to swap just about any engine into just about any car ... online there's a mk2 golf with a Cadillac Northstar V8 and a Vanagon with a WRX turbo. I've seen a mk2 golf with a corrado VR6 just the other week.

but beware, its not really legal

Re: engine swap

well there are also a mk2 rallye with a vr6 2,8lt in the front and a vr6 2,9lt in the rear , and an other mk2 with a w12 (that of the Phaethon or of the Buggati, whatever you like) 4wd also but these are extreme examples. it is true though that you can swap almost any vw engine.if you give some info on your car, year model etc, we may be able to give you more accurate info....
