Airbag light 97 Escort Code 12?

I have a 1997 Ford Escort 4 door which I bought as a wreck with both bags blown. After replacing both bags and the computer, the airbag light will still not go off code 12. So I replaced the clock spring and both front sensors, still code 12. Any suggestions?

I got an e-mail for this subject.

Did you put them in yourself, or did you have an autobody do it for you?

If you did it yourself, there might be something wrong.

I would advise getting it checked out right away.

Could be a faulty sensor. Six months ago Ford sent me a recall notice for the airbag sensor on my 97 Escort.
