crvtec

i think i am gunna go with crvtec but i got a few questions that i need answers to b4 i do.....first how much do you think a b18c1 with 40,000k miles on it will go for without the head? how much will the crvtec improve 1/4 mile time? and what else will i have to do once i swap in the b20? for example will it mount up to my tranny?

You have to run external lines for vtec. That costs something like $100. you'll also need to plug the vtec oil line in your GSR head, and make two holes bigger to accept dowels. That's probably another $100. The last issue would be a knock sensor location. some guys retapped an altenator bracket hole and put the knock in there. It isn't all that difficult. The GSR will work well. I have no clue on how much faster 11% extra displacement will be, but I know two guys who went to CR-VTEC and swear by it.

As for me, I'd love your block if it's a 00-01.

drat. anyway, my guess is your block is worth $500, but i'm sure you can find someone to pay more than that on ebay since all those guys pay too much.

well i know it would sell for more than $500 was thinking i would get more than a $1000
